I'm Jeremy Green.. A boundless artist.

 

What is your choreographic style of dance?

I don't put a style type on my creativity. I'm inspired by all forms of dance.

 

When was your most provocative moment as a dancer or choreographer?

It had to be my piece in Daryl foster Lift 2014!

 

 

Describe when you had a freeing experience, or a “come to moment” and realization that dance and choreography was your calling and purpose.

(during LIFT 2014) I was going through a lot at that time and that was the first time I felt my art was able to carry me through. I was able to be very vulnerable through my piece. After seeing that come to life and the feedback back I got I knew at that moment that choreography/teaching was my purpose. People felt what I felt and where able to feel the same freedom I did.

Why does this moment stick with you and how does it inspire you in all of your dance and choreography creations? 

This moment sticks with me because I pushed the limit, the norm.  I wanted to creatively take people another place and make them think but have a message of substance behind it. From that moment I knew that needed to be the focus of all my pieces. Having dancers/audience walk away with substance, inspired, and always wondering what's next.
