Who are you?
Simply, a lover of movement and the connections made therein.
What is your choreographic style of dance?
I enjoy creating from wherever a certain piece of music, angle of light, texture of fabric, mood of life, or physique of dancer leads me. I would say my style varies from soft to edgy, big to isolated, sweet to sexy, always with an aim to allow room for a message of hope in some way. I'm truly inspired by all genres of dance, but would probably say an athletic sense of contemporary is where the root of my work is based.
When was your most provocative moment as a dancer or choreographer?
I knew from a very young age that I loved making up dances, but the moment it really clicked that I wanted to make a living as a choreographer was actually when I graduated from Georgia Stage University with a Psych degree and realized how much I love studying the way things work - mind, body and spirit.

Why does this moment stick with you and how does it inspire you in all of your dance and choreography creations?
Having a deeper understanding of how the brain works gave me a whole new sense of curiosity about all the possibilities within body. The moment I realized this was definitely a lasting one, but I still have entirely new epiphanies on a regular basis about being a choreographer, a dancer, an artist. I'm constantly in a state of learning and finding inspiration. I feel so fortunate, every single day, to express myself freely, to amazing music, with a healthy facility.
